I think I might be getting a handle on this being an adult thing, FINALLY. I usually don't even start my holiday shopping until the end of November, and this year I am already nearly finished. I also have already begun my shopping for Thanksgiving food items for preparation, usually I wait until the week of and cry because a bunch of stuff I want is all sold out.
How are you at adulting? A planner that gets it all done, or a procrastinator that is stressed to the max? I think I may have found a happy middle point here.
I usually start towards the end of summer, just a few things, and keep buying a gift or two each pay (I get paid bi-monthly, so it's not that much!). as far as being an adult in other areas, not doing so well lol
ReplyDeleteI keep expecting to wake up one day feeling like an adult. I still feel the same though. It stinks too because I used to tease my mom for being so forgetful and absent-minded and apparently it is genetic. I have to write down and make digital reminders for EVERYTHING. I pretty much forget appointments if I don't write them down and set up a Cozi reminder, even if it's for the next day. I highly reccomend Cozi if you have a tendency to forget stuff too, they send you a reminder and have cool tools like making grocery lists and then texting them to yourself or other household members. http://www.cozi.com/live-simply?redir=home they also have a phone app!
