Wow!

I have been SUPER busy lately. I started a new job, which has taken up a lot of time. I am going to try to set up another low entry giveaway post and post some items to it later. I have been throwing up links on my FB page as I find them though, I have just been lazy about posting them here too. *click click* Yet another freaking mommy savings blogger.

Kroger Skillet Meals

I am currently a part of a BZZ Campaign for Kroger Skillet meals. The focus is on holidays and saving time during them on quick meals. Although honestly, most family's are ALWAYS busy and can always use a quick and nutritious meal time short cut.

They have a wide variety of flavors available, mainly Italian flavors, but they also have Asian and Mexican varieties. I really want to try the Chicken Fajita one! You can cook them in just TEN MINUTES and each skillet meal contains at least two generous portions. I tried the Penne with Grilled Chicken and it was DIVINE, especially with the Kroger brand garlic bread and fresh salad kit that BzzAgent also so generously provided me coupons for.

If you live near a Kroger store, I highly reccomend these, they are cheaper than other brands of skillet meals, the quality and taste is top notch, and they are so easy to make! So whether you are too busy, too tired, or just don't like cooking, these make a great meal for the family. I am definitely going to pick up some other varieties of these the next time I am at Kroger.

FCC compliance thingy, I got coupons to try to Kroger Skillet Meal (plus a salad and garlic bread) but all opinions and words are my own.

I am getting so excited!

I have been checking out all the black friday ads on bfads.net my favorite stores so far are Rite Aid and Dollar General. There are a few things I like at Walmart and Target though, mainly movies and board games. I can't wait to see what other stores have to offer. Amazon always has great deals too, all the way up until Christmas and often matches up other stores deals. I will be glued to that Amazon deals page during it's hours of operation.

What Black Friday deals are you most looking forward to? Are you boycotting the stores that are opening it up on Thanksgiving?

Selling Gift Cards

I recently got an email from Giftcardrescue.com to talk about their service on my blog. As it is something relevant to me, and probably some of my readers, I agreed. This is all my own post and own words, it was written by me, for you.

I enter a lot of sweepstakes and sometimes I end up with gift cards I cannot use or maybe I need money more than whatever it is that store sells. A lot of people get giftcards as presents that they can not use or really are not interested in the items the store is selling. That is where Giftcard Rescue comes in. It is amazingly easy to use. You can Sell Your Giftcards Online! Depending on the store you can get up to 90% cash back. You get more back if you pick an Amazon giftcard over a check, which is under Gift Card Trade, so if you don't need money for bills you can pick that option, you can buy pretty much everything on Amazon and it really comes in handy around Christmas time, they always have amazing deals for the holidays!  I checked on figures for a few different stores and ammounts. For $100 Zappos giftcard I could get $80 cash or $84 Amazon. A Southwest Airlines $500 giftcard would get me $425 cash or $446.25 from Amazon. A Target giftcard would get you $44.50 cash and $46.73 Amazon, that is pretty amazing! It is so easy to get Cash For Giftcards! Other sites take up to two weeks to get your cash from your giftcards and Gift Card Rescues turnaround time is 48 hours!!

It isn't just for selling though, you can also BUY giftcards and save some money. I searched for the same cards, they do not currently have any for Zappos to sell, but you save 6% the value if you buy one of those. Southwest Airlines you will save 5%. Target save 3%, which isn't a ton, but it is still less than full price, a $20 giftcard is listed for 19.40, you could buy one for a gift and the recipient wouldn't even need to know you didn't pay full price for it! The savings from giftcards are between 3-40%!  Also, if you buy a gift card from them, there is free shipping, that is always handy. I think I may have to purchase my son's teachers gift this year from gift card rescue.

I have used other card selling sites in the past, and have recently been looking around on them, the amount giftcard rescue is offering is slightly higher than others have offered for certain giftcards. The Target one is AMAZING.

I have decided I am going to sell a giftcard today, I will report back on how it works out for me, I am sure it'll be simple and I will be happy. I really have a $100 Zappos giftcard that is just collecting dust, I do not need any shoes or clothes, but I can always use cash!

ETA: I sold my Zappos giftcard and had a check for $80 within a week!

FTC Disclosure-I wrote this post on behalf of giftcard rescue in exchange for helping me increase exposure. I however am using all my own words and opinions.

Tis' the season.

I think I might be getting a handle on this being an adult thing, FINALLY. I usually don't even start my holiday shopping until the end of November, and this year I am already nearly finished. I also have already begun my shopping for Thanksgiving food items for preparation, usually I wait until the week of and cry because a bunch of stuff I want is all sold out.

How are you at adulting? A planner that gets it all done, or a procrastinator that is stressed to the max? I think I may have found a happy middle point here.

Here is an example of a tryology review.

I have posted recently about expotv and how easy it is to make money on it. I love their tryology program. Here is a video of my most recent tryology I recieved. It was a special Crayola project and I got it before it was even being sold. This is one of my favorite tryology products I have received, my son LOVES playing with it.

You can buy it off of Amazon, watch for a lightning deal on it nearer the holidays. It is a seriously fun toy and they have different sets and you can buy different colors.

Great way to earn QUICK cash for the holidays

I have joined a lot of panel, survey, and product testing sites over the years. One of the best ones I have found to earn quick money is ExpoTV. I have always cashed in my points for Amazon, 600 points=$5 and most videos get you 300-500 points. To earn the points you need to record video reviews on products, or subjects they are requesting, like your back to school routines. The only problem is, if you are like me, and self concious, it kind of seems like a nightmare recording yourself. So I rarely actually do them. However, if you are a chatty Cathy and have no problem talking for a few minutes about the products you own, EASY. It seems the majority of the products they are asking for are P&G brands, so if you already love and frequently use Herbal Essences to wash your hair, Swiffer to wash your home, and Secret to keep unstinky, it'll be really easy.

They also have a program called tryology where they send you items to try out, often before they are sold. Over the years I have gotten Shampoo, Conditioner, Lotion, Febreeze Candles, A Cookie Monster Kitchen, a super awesome Crayola Build and Destroy toy, and more. Those I suck up and do the videos for. Because yay, free stuff!

They have a most wanted section, where they pay more for video reviews on products. One time I found my tv listed and made $45 for a 3 minute review!! So easy!

Note, I did list a refferal link, so if you do sign up through that and upload a video, I do get some points. However, I am not telling you about this just to get points, it is genuinely a great program!

Overwhelmed by cats.

I currently have 3 cats and 4 kittens. They are all awesome, I am working on getting all the kittens fixed, apparently that helps get them homes. I need to start stockpiling litter and food though, so many cats. I'd like to add I have the adult cats fixed. The kittens were the result of a stray cat, I had planned on catching her and fixing her, but was never able to get her in time. She dropped them all on the porch when it was nearly 100 degrees outside and we brought them in for her. She is now fixed and back outside. Now we need to get the kittens fixed and put some of them outside, but preferably find them homes.

Halloween Trumoo Goosebumps Sweepstakes

I am posting this as a part of a bzzagent campaign and I got 1 free product coupons and several 75 cent off coupons for participating. #gotitfree.

With that said, Trumoo has some cool and special packaging for halloween. They look pretty spooky, and awesome. They have a new vanilla flavor that is colored orange! They partnered up with goosebumps and every cap has a code you can go to their page to enter or even through their facebook page. Every person that enters gets a $2 off coupon for a goosebumps movie and the grand prize is pretty amazing, it's a "Haunted Hollywood Vacation". Specifically; "Grand Prize trip includes: flight allowance of $450 per person for Winner and (3) guests from a major commercial airport near Winner's residence within the United States to Los Angeles, CA; $233.00 towards ground transportation, parking, tolls & fuel to and/or from the destination airport, hotel, and Pasadena Haunted House, private return coach transfers to Fox Studios; 3 days/2 nights at the Andaz West Hollywood Hotel in West Hollywood, CA (one (1) family hotel room consisting of two double beds); private tour of Fox Studios in Los Angeles, CA and private film screening for Winner and (3) guests; and VIP afternoon matinee entry and tour through one of the oldest standing building's in Pasadena's Old Town." Sounds, pretty amazing, right?

Now trumoo is pretty amazing stuff itself. It tastes delicious and is a great source of vitamins and nutrients. My son was very familiar with it from the ads and because they serve it at his school. When I got him from the bus stop yesterday and asked him if he wanted some pizza and trumoo chocolate milk, he was so excited and for awhile, I was elevated to COOLEST MOMMY EVER!! Which I lost later on, when I told him that was enough youtube for the day. That kid could watch minecraft videos all day, if I let him. So, if you like trumoo already, or have been meaning to try it, now is a great time to get some, because you have a shot at winning an amazing trip, and you get a coupon for a Goosebumps movie, those rock. I bet you liked them growing up, so why not pick one up and share the fun and non gory spookiness with your kids?

Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics

I somewhat recently received a sun vox box from influenster. (they totally rock by the way). It contained several great items for me to try out. One of my favorites (and the least expensive!) in the box were the goody's ouchless ribbon elastics. They are available in super cute colors and super easy to use! I usually carry an extra in my pocket, just in case. They are fun, cute, and add a nice pop of color. They say in the information they look good on the wrist too, which I agree, but I have a bit of sensory issues, so did not try it that way. They are super affordable, under $4 for 5 in most stores. Available most places where you can find other goody's products. I have tried other brands in the past similiar to this, and while I liked them, the goody's ones seem to be a little better quality. I love them and will be rebuying (lots because my cat's keep stealing them!) in the future, most definitely.

Blessings

I am having a good day today. I helped a lot of people with their taxes at the literacy council in the morning. I got Evan from school and then took part in a 90 minute study, which paid me $80. While I was doing that study I got a call about a job I had applied for just this morning and I have an interview for it on Friday. I also finally got my $100 visa code from my google study I did awhile back. It feels awesome.

Dino Lingo

So psyched about this program. They sent me a free dvd because of my review on influenster and my son got the Spanish animals one. The dino cracked him up every time it popped up and he loved the little songs and learned a few words. I love it and might need to order a few more. I am going to see if his teacher would like to use it in a unit for his Kindergarten class.

YAY!

I am so excited. I just got an email from MomSelect and they are doing shipments for Coppertone Moms this summer too! I had so much fun with this program last year and thanks to it a lot of little kids stayed protected. I volunteer at the local literacy council and they have a summer camp program and we kept them all slathered and hydrated. My son had fun sharing the foaming spray sunscreen at the beach too. I can't wait to see what's in this years package!
